Terms and Conditions

You agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions when ordering items from Boombuds®, a brand owned by Boom Audio Australia.

Your order, once submitted to Boombuds, is final and cannot be changed. This includes adding or removing items from your order. Boombuds reserves the right to reject any order you place, and/or to limit quantities on any order, without giving any reason.

 

PAYMENT

Payment for items may be by:

  • Credit card (Visa or Mastercard);
  • Paypal;

 

GST / TAX INVOICE

The prices of items on www.boombuds.com.au are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). Boombuds makes no warranty or representation regarding the applicability of GST to orders made outside of Australia.

 

SHIPPING

Item/s will be dispatched from our location in Sydney, Australia, within 24 hours (1 working day, i.e. excluding weekends and public holidays) after full payment has been received by Boombuds as cleared funds. At this stage, all orders are shipped via Australia Post. Exceptions apply for pre-sale/pre-order items, where delivery times will be indicated on our website.

The following is a guideline of delivery times:

  • 2 - 8 business days for item/s sent by Regular Post within Australia
  • 1 - 3 business days for item/s sent by Express post within Australia
  • 3 - 5 business days for item/s sent by Express Courier International to New Zealand

Free standard shipping

For item/s which include free standard shipping, postage is only FREE for the first delivery attempt to you. If there is any delivery failure not caused by Boombuds , a shipping fee must be paid in full by you before Boombuds resends the item/s to you.

Registered Post / Tracking

We ship with Australia Post Regular Pacel Post which include a tracking number. Boombuds is not liable for any loss, theft, or damages to items during shipping / delivery.

Boombuds currently ships to Australia, New Zealand, USA and the UK.

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Non-faulty items

30 Day Money Back Guarantee - Boombuds will offer a full refund or allow an exchange to the value of an item you have purchased within 30 days of purchase if you are not happy or have changed your mind about the item. The value of the item will exclude any shipping and handling costs incurred by Boombuds when the item was first sent to you, including such costs which were incorporated into the purchase price and ‘free shipping’ was specified.

Boombuds will not be liable for:

  • any costs incurred by you in returning the item to Boombuds for exchange; and/or
  • the difference in value between the original item you purchased and your chosen alternative item where the alternative item has a greater value. You must pay the difference between the value of the original item you purchased and your chosen alternative item; and/or
  • any costs of shipping an alternative item to you following exchange. The alternative item will only be resent to you after shipping costs are received in full by Boombuds as cleared funds.

Please note that Boombuds will not provide a refund, credit or exchange if the item is not kept in brand new and immediate resalable condition with original packaging and unbroken seals.

Faulty items

If you consider that there is a fault or defect with any item, please return the item to Boombuds within a reasonable time of purchase for assessment. Boombuds will not be liable for any costs incurred by you in returning the item to Boombuds for assessment.

If the item is found to be faulty then you may request:

  • a refund of the item purchase price; or
  • a replacement of the item; or
  • Boombuds to assist in making a claim under any warranty which applies to the item.

Our goods come with 1-year limited warranty that cannot be excluded under  Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Unless otherwise specified in the item description, on or in the item packaging or in written material provided with the item, Boombuds will replace any item with a manufacturing defect within 12 months of the date of purchase. This warranty does NOT cover: 

  • any exclusions outlined in the manufacturer’s warranty which apply to the item;
  • accidental misuse, deliberate misuse or unauthorised alterations;
  • accidental damage;
  • excessive liquid penetration;
  • rust or corrosion;
  • cosmetic damage;
  • reasonable wear and tear.

The benefits under our warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies under a law in relation to the goods.

If the item is not found to be faulty then you will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs incurred by Boombuds to resend the item to you. The item will only be resent to you after these costs are received in full by Boombuds as cleared funds.

Item is not what you ordered

In the unlikely event that Boombuds sends you an item which is not what you ordered, please contact us within 2 business days of receiving your item at sales@boombuds.com.au so that we can rectify this for you.

 

ITEM DESCRIPTIONS AND IMAGES

Boombuds aims to ensure that item descriptions and images are accurate. However, some inaccuracies, typographical errors or misinterpretations may occur. Boombuds reserves the right to correct such inaccuracies or typographical errors.
